The 140th China Import and Export Fair, known as the Canton Fair, concluded in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Nov 4. The trading delegation from the Ningxia Hui autonomous region achieved a cumulative intended transaction value of $10.43 million.
At this year's Canton Fair, the Ningxia trading delegation organized 22 enterprises to attend and occupied 29 booths.
Ningxia's specialty foods showed impressive performance, with companies such as Ningxia Kofolon International and Ningxia Hong Rising Biological Technology securing large intended orders.
The region's textile and clothing companies also performed exceptionally well, with Ningxia Meichen Textile Technology achieving its intended transaction value of $310,000.
The region's characteristic exhibition area for rural vitalization featured five Ningxia companies, showcasing Ningxia's local specialty products on a global platform.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Canton Fair. The event has become an important stage for Ningxia companies to improve their international profile.
