Liu Kerui, who previously lived in Maotao village, Guyuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, has suffered from drought, water shortages, and inconvenient transportation. After relocating to Hongde village in Hongsibu district, Wuzhong, Ningxia, his family was able to start and enjoy a better life.
"Now our village enjoys a nice environment. The transportation here is convenient, and we don't need to travel far for schooling and medical treatment," said Liu.
For Liu, there are plenty of chances to earn money now and he expresses gratitude for the sound resettlement policy that has lifted his family out of poverty.
