The wines from the Helan Mountains' east foothills in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region received high praise during a wine promotion event held in California's Napa Valley in the United States on May 12.
Wang Li, vice-chairman of Ningxia, highlighted the region's unique natural conditions for winemaking, its standardized grape cultivation and wine production practices, and the progress made in developing the local wine industry in recent years.
He added that Ningxia hopes to deepen cooperation with Napa Valley, which is also a world-class wine producing region, in areas including technical exchange, market expansion, and cultural tourism integration.
California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis said she appreciated the achievements made by Ningxia in developing the wine industry and is willing to continue deepening cooperation and experience sharing with Ningxia.

During the event, Ningxia's Jade Vineyard and Dulaan Winery signed memorandums of cooperation with businesses in Napa Valley.
The delegation from the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains also visited authoritative industry management organizations in Napa Valley, conducting exchanges on core issues such as wine production region management, planting and brewing technology, quality control, brand operation, and market access.
They also visited world-class renowned wineries to learn more about advanced grape cultivation, fine brewing, quality control, and high-end brand operation experience, among others.
