Yinchuan in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region established July 19 as Entrepreneur Day, the city announced at its 4th conference on optimizing the business environment held on April 29.
The conference, gathering over 160 entrepreneurs, focused on optimizing the city's business environment through dedicated actions and stimulating the development of the private economy.
During the conference, the "Several Measures to Optimize the Business Environment in Yinchuan in 2026" and "Yinchuan's Policies to Support Enterprise Technological Innovation" were released.
The city reaped fruitful results during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). The processes required to establish a business and get projects approved have been greatly streamlined. Its Zheng Qi Tong (Government Enterprise Communication) online platform distributed rewards and subsidies exceeding 1.13 billion yuan ($165.37 million) during the period.
The city has also upgraded the Zheng Qi Tong platform, which will push appropriate policies to corresponding enterprises with a matching accuracy reaching 90 percent. The newly launched AI assistant offers users an instant Q&A service, improving service efficiency.
