After two rounds of integration and optimization, Yinchuan in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region has merged the original 11 industrial parks into six, centralizing resource allocation and achieving more efficient and intensive utilization.
This was told from a responsible person from the Yinchuan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology on Nov 6. Yinchuan will adjust the planned land use scope of the industrial park synchronously, adding 2,733 hectares of industrial land to reserve sufficient space for development in the next 5 to 10 years.

Integration is a systematic reshaping meant to trigger a "chemical reaction". Taking the merger of Yinchuan Highway and Railway Logistics Park and Zhongguancun Innovation and Entrepreneurship Technology Park into the Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone as an example, the adjustment promotes the comprehensive upgrading of the park in terms of industrial functions, innovative elements, service efficiency, and more.
At present, the leading industries in the six industrial parks in Yinchuan account for an average of 90 percent of the total output value, an increase of 20 percentage points from 2022. The cluster effects of industries such as new materials, new food, and new equipment manufacturing are becoming increasingly prominent.
