The Yanzhi Canyon Scenic Area occupies a place in the picturesque Guyuan city in Ningxia Hui autonomous region with its multi waterfall water landscape.
The total length of the canyon is about 45 kilometers, and it is mainly used for hiking and adventure tours. The total length of the waterway landscape is about 4.5 kilometers. Waterfalls and strange rocks are the scenic area's two major attractions.
The water scenery along the way is mainly composed of seven or eight waterfalls of various sizes, with the largest one being the Yanzhi Grand Waterfall — one with a 42-meter drop.
On both sides of the waterway stand strange peaks and differently shaped rocks. The water and rock scenery complement each other beautifully.
