Int'l youth film camp Launched in Yinchuan

The Youth Bonds on Silk Road International Youth Video Exchange Program Ningxia Creative Camp was launched in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on June 12. Professional mentors, university scholars, young creators, and media journalists from nearly 30 countries are carrying out a week-long film creation exchange, training, and joint shooting practice.

The camp aims to build a creative exchange platform for international youth, recording Ningxia's development pulse from diverse perspectives, conveying China's contemporary spirit through innovative expressions, and interpreting stories of harmonious co-prosperity among different civilizations under the Belt and Road Initiative. 

The camp has invited a mentor team composed of experts and scholars from Warner Bros Discovery Group (USA), Communication University of China, and the directors who won the Best Film Award in the Asian New Talent section of the Shanghai International Film Festival. Focusing on cutting-edge topics such as visual storytelling, cultural expression, short video and micro-drama creation, AI and the future of imagery, the program delivers instruction through workshops and on-site guidance.

Meanwhile, nearly 50 Chinese and foreign representatives will be invited to a three-day shooting training program, conducting on-site visits and filming of Ningxia's cultural landscapes and characteristic industries. Through the youth perspective with an international vision, the profound and vivid stories of Ningxia will be showcased to the world.
