The Medical and Health Center of Wangyuan town in Yongning county, Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, a hospital responsible for the town's preventive healthcare, public health, emergency treatment, diagnosis and treatment of common and prevalent diseases, has been striving for improving the health standard of residents in the area over the years.

Fu Jun, the former head of Wangyuan Township Hospital, has over 40 years of work experience and has insisted on working on the front line of clinical medicine. After retiring, he was rehired at the Medical and Health Center, providing diagnoses and treatment to many local patients every day.
In addition, the center has also invited experts of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from higher-level hospitals to provide guidance and support.
In 2023, the annual outpatient volume of the center reached 260,000 visits.
The Medical and Health Center of Wangyuan now oversees 11 institutions, including community health service stations and village clinics, all equipped with TCM diagnostic and treatment facilities. Through integrated medical and preventive services and precise rehabilitation at home, the center has achieved door-to-door medical treatment and medication delivery.
Meanwhile, by establishing a one-stop chronic disease management outpatient clinic and refining the process of chronic disease management, the center provides "one-stop service" for chronic disease. As of now, it has managed 11,488 chronic disease patients, with a control rate reaching 85 percent.
"This hospital is close to home and has a comfortable internal environment with comprehensive departments. Even when there are many patients, the doctors will explain the disease’s condition to us in detail," said a local resident.
