Under the leadership of Qi Yongxin and after many years of development, a new Lishi village with prosperous industries, a habitable ecological environment, and better living standards has become a beautiful landscape on the road of rural revitalization in Longde county, Ningxia.
Walking into Lishi village, people are greeted by the fragrance of sesame oil, which is produced by local residents using traditional methods. There are many other characteristic industries in Lishi village developed by applying traditional handicrafts, which have all been realized under the leadership of Qi.

Ten years ago, Lishi village did not have an industry to develop. After Qi took the position, he started to guide the local people to plant grass and raise livestock. Through the people's efforts, Lishi village has become a characteristic place of stock farming, with the per capita disposable income of villagers exceeding 12,000 yuan (about $1,700).
In 2018, Lishi village set up a joint-stock economic cooperative to transform vacant buildings into manufacturing workshops, turning idle resources into high-quality assets. Since then, farmers have become shareholders to participate in the management of assets, and the collective economy of Lishi village has grown. The village has also explored the development mechanism of "Party branch + cooperatives + business entities + farmers". Villagers can now realize their entrepreneurial dreams without leaving their homes.
In 2019, Lishi village was awarded the title of "national rural governance demonstration village" by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In 2020, it was listed as the excellent village of civilized construction. Qi has also been awarded the "national poverty alleviation award", the "national model worker" and other honorary titles.
