On July 15, the China Agricultural Production Trusteeship in Ningxia, which is one of a series of activities organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, was held in Ningxia Lingwu city.

At the event, farmers who make their living through wine, goji berry, beef cattle, beach goat, cold vegetable, apple, Hongmei apricot, and perfume pear contracts with the Ningxia characteristic industry agricultural socialized service system, have had their production problems solved by the system.

Lingwu, as one of the top 100 counties in China, is identified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as a pilot county for the national innovation of agricultural socialization services, and is listed as the first pilot county of the agricultural production trust service project in Ningxia.

Xie Gang, director of Lingwu Agricultural and Rural Bureau, stated that Lingwu has 353,200 mu of arable land, 148 various types of agricultural socialized service organizations, an agricultural production trust operation service area of 872,800 mu, and 27,500 households involved in the farming industry. In 2021, the total agricultural output value reached 3.43 billion yuan (about $516 million), the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 18,874 yuan, the regional GDP achieved 63.9 billion yuan (ranking first in Ningxia), and the added value of primary industry increased by 10%.
Ningxia will continue to accelerate the establishment of its modern agricultural industry system, production system and operation system. And Lingwu will also continue to actively learn from the experience and practices of advanced counties and cities to further deepen its pilot agricultural production trust services, and expand innovative service models to achieve increased agricultural production.
