Since the year 2020, State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Company has built a total of 1.5 kilometers of 0.4 KV lines in Xiaohe village, Xiji county, added 50 new pole bases and increased the distribution transformer capacity from 100 KVA to 200 KVA to promote the village's beef cattle breeding.
Chen Zhanwen, one of the first to start beef cattle breeding in Xiaohe village, has expanded his beef cattle from 6 to 170. With the expansion of beef cattle breeding, the amount of electrical equipment has increased as has the demand for electricity.To meet the demands of breeding households, the company expanded the capacity of transformers in a timely way and installed a power source.
At present, Xiaohe village has a total of 110 breeding households, including 11 with more than 50 beef cattle. The stock of beef cattle now reaches 1,500.
In addition, the company sends service personnel to conduct regular inspections of power equipment, record hidden dangers and rectify them in time, helping the beef cattle industry to flourish.
